BAMart is a contemporary art advisory business founded by Brooke Molinaroli in 2018. Based in Larchmont, NY, BAMart uncovers emerging and mid-career artists through regular trips to galleries, art fairs, and artists’ studios. Gaining a reputation for spotting talent early in their careers, our artists have gone on to exhibit work at prestigious galleries and fairs worldwide, including Perrotin Gallery, Eric Firestone Gallery, Various Small Fires, Untitled Art, The Armory Show, and Frieze New York. BAMart visits clients’ spaces, works alongside designers, manages budgets, and makes the process of acquiring work low-key, transparent, and fun.
BAMart works with clients from across the world and stages innovative, curated pop-up exhibitions. These shows can be found online via Artsy, retail spaces including ROOM, inside a home presented salon-style, and outdoors, including the Art in the Yard Series, created in collaboration with SMA I Stephen Moser Architects. BAMart also holds benefits for creative organizations, including NYC Salt, a non-profit that provides photography instruction and college/career mentoring to high school students from underserved areas of NYC.
Brooke Molinaroli, Founder
Brooke loves contemporary art and photography, being around creative people, and doing things a bit differently. She graduated from Bucknell University with a BA in Anthropology and Art History. She brings more than two decades of experience working in contemporary art and brand and digital marketing in New York, London, and Dallas for Pace Gallery, ESI Design, Organic, British Telecom (BT), and Dallas Museum of Art. Known for innovation, Brooke built BT’s social media presence as a first of its kind, highly successful customer service tool (TEDx Talk) and led Art Everywhere, the first and largest public service art campaign, comprised of 58 works of American Art from 5 leading museums presented on billboards coast-to coast.
Fiona Farrell, Partner
Fiona McDonagh Farrell was not new to contemporary art when she first worked with BAMart Advisory as a client adding to her collection. As an award-winning Photography Director, Fiona spent 20 years working with the world’s leading photographers at Rolling Stone, Esquire, and Entertainment Weekly. Two of her magazine covers were among the Top 40 Magazine Covers of the Last 40 Years (#19, Bill Clinton for Esquire; #27, The Dixie Chicks for Entertainment Weekly) chosen by ASME (American Society of Magazine Editors). In addition, she won numerous awards from the Society of Publication Designers (SPD), American Photography, and the Art Directors Club. In a departure from print work, Fiona worked as the Photo Archivist on the highly acclaimed 2020 documentary film, Jimmy Carter: Rock & Roll President. In 2024, she joined Brooke as a partner at BAMart. Her discerning eye for emerging talent is complemented by an instinct for pairing a client’s sensibility with the ideal artist or work of art.
Fiona graduated from Sarah Lawrence College, studied art history and visual arts in Florence, Italy (SLIF), and photography at the School of Visual Arts and The International Center of Photography in New York City.
